The Master of Science in Animal Science from the Federal University of Maranhão has been focus in Animal Production The main focus are the training of people for simultaneous expansion of knowledge about animal production with emphasis on processes with low environmental impact, associated the use and conservation of biodiversity of the transition region between the humid tropics and arid northeast. Therefore, the two lines of research are strategically structured towards the generation of appropriate technologies to increase animal productivity from the deepening of knowledge at the interface between regional biodiversity and ecological agrosystems base for the regional food production.
