TITLE: "On Bogomolny equations and their derivation“

ABSTRACT: This is well-known fact that for some classes of field theoretical models, exploring Euler-Lagrange equations can be reduced to exploring Bogomolny equations (sometimes called also as "Bogomol'nyi equations" or "BPS equations"), if these last ones can be derived for the given model. The best known method for deriving Bogomolny equations is completing the square, applied to the action functional. I would like to present the so-called concept of strong necessary conditions, which allows to derive Bogomolny equations in a more systematic way. Some example of derivation of such equations will be also presented.
