TITULO: From the Ising model to quantum gravity

RESUMO: Strongly coupled systems are notoriously hard to solve in quantum field theory. In this talk I will review several recent results that take advantage of  conformal bootstrap methods to attack these non perturbative systems that range from the famous Ising model  to quantum gravity in anti de Sitter space times.
